SpringHill Suites by Marriott Houston I-10 West/Energy Corridor

The hotel is very nice & clean. The staff is very friendly and polite. Location is close to ih10 to get in & out of the property. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 5 is their breakfast choices. What I saw in the pics posted are old and is not what they offer today. It's just basic breakfast , means no waffle maker , no fresh fruit(s) , except multi grain bread no other bakery . I requested to fix the towel handle as it was broken but no one came to fix it. We requested the complete housekeeping as we stayed for 2 nights but the house keeper just changed the towels and didn't made the beds at all. Out of 4 towels she replaced only one was fresh bath towel and 2 fresh gym towels ( but not the actual bath towels ) . Hope the management works on these issues to make the guest stay more pleasurable.

The hotel itself is not a problem. Our room was great and the breakfast was delicious. It’s the front desk receptionist who lacks customer service skills. She is only helpful to certain people and it was very clear who she was not going to help. You don’t have ANYONE at the front desk when you arrive or check out unless you call the front desk, then she comes out of the back. I will not be staying here anymore.

This hotel was clean, the staff was polite upon check in which was the only time I NEEDED to interact with them. Breakfast was 730 until 9 and it was what should have been expected since COVID. The room was clean, air worked, no insects or bugs. It was quiet, the pool was ok but it was crowded because of other guests which is beyond their control. I would book here again if needed.

Would not stay again. The breakfast is not very good. Not much choices. My room had dirty towels in in when I checked in and a small roach was under my sheets. Only clean rooms when you have to go specifically to the front desk and ask. Fitness center was dirty. gard as night due to several vandals steeling Cat converters. Location "for me" was the only reason to stay.

I totally don’t understand how this hotel got a 4.3 rating. Makes me wonder either it really went downhill or the it buys fake reviews. The good - the room is very clean and comfortable. But that’s about it. The staff makes it very clear they do NOT want to serve. First when I got there at 2:40, there’s nobody at the front desk. Had to wait for 10min before someone shows up. the entire parking lot was empty. Seems like very limited visitors here. However for some reason the front desk still told me they don’t have any room available on the top floor. The breakfast was absolutely HORRIBLE! They said it’s 6:30-9:30. We got there around 8, and they are out of bread, milk, egg and sausage. There’s only some weird grits left. All the juices are mixed and diluted with water. We were staying in Houston for two days and we were glad we only booked here for 1 night! We ran to a different hotel and were much happier there. Marriotts quality has gone down so much in general in the past 2years. Very disappointing!

Due to the covid the hotel is empty with very few customers in sight. Me and the family actually just planned three nights away from the house for Christmas. Even though we live in town this was an awesome get away from our normal routine. The staff was still gracious (even with their masks on) I could still notice their smiling faces. I paid a visit to the front desk to request additional blankets and the front desk person was still very nice, even though it was 3 am, and believe me I know it’s hard to be nice at that time. The rooms were very clean and sanitized. The beds were very comfortable and this place really felt like home for those three days. I plan to make this hotel our home away from home whenever possible even if it’s for a weekend getaway. Keep up the great work!!!

Horrible customer service, staff took 30 mins to check me into my room. With no apologies or explanation. The front desk clerk wasn’t present at the counter for me and another customer for approximately 15 minutes while waiting for her to show up after ringing the bell several times. During the 30 minute process of attempting to check in she lost my credit card and my drivers license. And I have to go in the back looking for them because she couldn’t remember where she placed them. She also appeared to not understand how the computer reservation system worked and continually jumped from one site to anotherAttempting to check me in to my room. Until MARRIOTT intervenes and trains the staff here more festively I do not recommend this hotel. I’ve never been to a Marriott and received such incredibly poor service and customer care. Someone should look at this place very closely. I filed a complaint with Marriott. They passed it on to the manager at the hotel. The manager contacted me and left a voicemail message saying they have no record of me staying there. I have the paperwork to prove that person is lying.
